Diego Torti, titolare dell’enoteca Bottiglie Rotolanti di Galliate (Novara) in Viale Dante Alighieri 55, è un noto sommelier locale che da anni conduce i clienti verso le migliori scelte in ambito di vini, spirit e abbinamento cibo-bevanda, suggerendo e spiegando la perfetta associazione per far vivere una total food experience indimenticabile.
Oltre a consigli su scelte e abbinamenti, tutti i clienti si affidano alle sue analisi dettagliate sulle caratteristiche organolettiche della bevanda, dove Diego determina qualità, difetti e racconta curiosi aneddoti che il prodotto porta con sé.
Da mesi, come Alfa Spirits, collaboriamo con Diego Torti. Ecco il suo pensiero quando gli abbiamo chiesto di recensire Lucius Dry Gin: “Si tratta di un’idea interessante, originale e ottimamente sviluppata. Lucius Dry Gin è un distillato classico e aromatico: il naso coglie subito il ginepro e le note vegetali rinforzate da una nota minerale muffata. Anche al palato, il prodotto, si apre con un ginepro tonificante a cui la mineralità e i sentori muffati del Gorgonzola si uniscono piacevolmente e intensamente. Il finale, lungo e secco, è anch’esso ricco di note vegetali e minerali. È un prodotto ottimo per la mixologia e, molti clienti, lo trovano davvero interessante anche degustato in purezza”.
Diego è anche un noto chitarrista a livello locale e appassionato da sempre di musica: a Lucius Dry Gin ha dedicato quindi una canzone, Nightshift dei Commodores, la storica hit scritta da Walter Orange nel 1985 e tributo a Marvin Gaye e Jackie Wilson, entrambi morti nel 1984. Di seguito il testo:
